Description:
Small but beautiful. Sikkim is situated in the eastern Himalayas. Spread below the Mount Khanchendzonga (8534 mts), the third highest mountain in the world, and revered by the Sikkimese as their protective deity. With an area of 7,300 sq km and measuring approx. 114 km from the north to south and 64 km from east to west, the elevation ranges from 300 mts to over 8540 mts above sea level. Amidst the grandeur of the mountain peaks, lush valleys, fast flowing rivers, hills, Sikkim offers her visitors a rare and singular experience. Within a matter of hours one can move from the sub tropical heat of the lower valleys to the cold of the rugged mountain slopes that reach up to the area of perpetual snow.

Tour Itinerary: GANGTOK - NORTH SIKKIM - PELING
|
Day 01from Sealdah station by 12377 Up Padatik Exp. at 22.55 hrs Day
02Arrival NJP Railway Station at 09.00hrs. Meet & greet and then proceed for picturesque drive to Gangtok (134 KM/ 4hrs) - "The Capital City of Sikkim". Arrive Gangtok and check in Hotel. In the Evening visit M.G. Marg (Heart of the city). Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03After breakfast at 9.30hrs transfer to Lachung (8610 ft; 117 km/7 hrs), en route visit seven sister waterfalls, Singhik View point, night stay at Resort. (Lachung is a pure remote village).
Day 04Early morning at 6.30 hrs drive to Yumthang Valley (24 km, 11800 ft, known as valley of flowers or 2nd Switzerland); transfer to Gangtok.night stay at hotel.Dinner on time.
Day 05 Early morning breakfast at 7.30 hrs and departure for Tsomgo Lake, Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (14000 ft, 54 km/4hrs). Dinner and night stay at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 06After breakfast at 08.30AM Gangtok local sightseeing covering Ranka Monastery, Enchey Monastery (The Enchey Monastery was established in 1909 above Gangtok, It belongs to the Nyingma order of VajrayanaBuddhism.), Bhanjhakri Falls' is an energy park as well as a shamatic theme park, Flower show, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom. Evening free for marketing, dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 07After breakfast transfer at 7.30 to Pelling (6800 ft, 132 km/ 5 hr) via Ravangla, night stay in hotel.Evening free for personal activity.
Day 08After breakfast at 8.30hrs, start for Pelling site seeing (Rimbi falls, Kanchanjungha falls, Khecheopalri Wish Lake). Back to hotel for Lunch, after lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins & view point, night stay in hotel. Day 09After breakfast transfer to NJP Rly station.( 145 km/ 5 hrs), Dep by 12378 Dn at 21.00 hrs by Padatik Exp. Day 10Arrival Sealdah station at 06.45 hrs. Tour ends with happy memories. |

- If car does not proceed due to natural calamities, extra night accommodation will be arranged on extra payment basis as per actual hotel rate.
- Company is not liable for any closing of historing place, temples, mosques, etc.

- Gangtok local 5 points sightseeing by Maruti Omni/Alto (04 pax are allowed including Child)
- Tsomgo Lake & Babamandir tour: by Maruti Omni & Tata Sumo / Mahindra Max / Hard top Jeep (These are the only vehicles allowed)
- Pelling sightseeing: only Tata Sumo / Mahindra Max are allowed.
- North Sikkim - Only Tata Sumo/ Bularo/ Tata Spacio
- All transfers from NJP: Innova/Travera/Scorpio/Tata Spacio/Indica
- There may be changes in the sightseeing itinerary that may be caused due to situations which may arise and the same has to be adhered to.
